NEW YEARS EVE (12/31/2003)
We hosted a small new years eve party which was my first hosting of this type of thing and a cause of great nervousness. It was wonderful though! Everyone seemed to enjoy each other's company and nobody left to go to a cooler party.A Lineup of Attendees

In attendance were: the aforementioned Sarah and Ben; Eric and Wendy, friends from LA; Andy and Lisa, originally friends of my aunt Jen and now I'm happy to say friends of my own; my beloved Jenny; my beloved Chrissy; and me.
Andy and Lisa

Andy and Lisa, looking very chipper.
Andy and, uh, I?

Not sure why this picture cracks me up.
Andy, Lisa and Jen

Andy, Lisa, and Jen, looking less excited then I distinctly remember them being at that moment.
Ben Sounding Off

When a doctor talks, people listen. This is because they have disgusting stories.
Chris and Me

Head-Scratcher

Ben, from the ground up. It's cute for him.
Jen and Me

Damn that's a blue picture
Jen, Andy, and Mariachi Bobblehead People

My aunt Susy gave me these mariachi/dolls for Christmas last year. People tend to pick them up and start playing with them without realizing it. My house should be full of such toys.
Lisa Blows a Horn

Lisa had the good sense to bring party favors, without which it really wouldn't have felt like new years.
The New Year

This is the first minute of the new year. The little spangles of white are not bad pixelation, but in fact lots of confetti. Lisa's about to pop the top on a can of silly string. Jen's just gulping down the champagne. Wendy's playing peekaboo behind Eric's shoulder. Fun for all!
