FOUND FILM (10/1/2005)
I found this roll of film in a drawer and sent it off to be processed not knowing what I'd find!Ariana

Chris's cousin Ariana, reluctant flowergirl and Chris's cousin from Peru.
Chris

No idea when this is, but it's pretty cute.
Chris

love that John Turturro chic. (Seriously. I do.)
Chris & a Mariachi Guy

I'm think this must have been Daniel & Natalie's wedding.
Chris & Heather

My underage little sister drinking beer! And she doesn't even look nervous! Chris was growing his hair out at my request. He looks so manly!
Chris & His Cousin Andrew

Also in Mexico. We stayed at a pretty bare-bones hotel on the cheap side of the Puerto Vallarta hotel strip, while the rest of his family stayed at the swankiest, most extravagant resort community about a half an hour outside of town. The paint on the walls and proper air conditioning wafting through Chris's hair are just the beginning. They had a private jacuzzi on their balcony and the entrance to the place looked like that Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland.
Chris and His Entourage

(Actually just a wedding rehearsal, but he's a stud anyway.)
Joah

The same summer that my little sister Heather came to visit, my older brother Joah drove through town on his way to San Diego. It was such a treat to spend time together as adults, without fear of lugies and name-calling.
Joah & Corey

Joah was seeing a girl named Corey at the time. She was nice and all, but not good enough for him.
Ken & Leah

That's my friend Ken, from work. He's a handsome fellow. I think this was the Raveonettes concert.
Nicole, Daniel & Nestor

I like how Nestor (Nicole and Daniel's dad) was completely disinterested in being photographed. This is also in Mexico for Daniel & Natalie's wedding.)
Poorni & Chris

Chris's friend Poorni was in LA at the same time as my brother, coincidentally. We all hung out one night in our teeny little apartment.
Poorni & Company

Poorni was seeing this guy (on the right) at the time. It ended soon after, mainly because he was a little goofy, I think.
Sexy Ben

Ben (recently married) before Sarah cleaned him up.
Sister

This is my little sister Heather when she came to visit us in LA several years ago.
Vargases

Ah, this is a funny picture because when we first moved to LA we inivted Chris's family over for lunch but our apartment was teeny (just two small rooms) and we didn't have a proper table so we set them up all around a rickety card table and we all sat in beach chairs and ate overcooked steak off mismatched thrift store dishes. All of which moreorless describes my daily existance, but it's a bit odd to see Chris's dad and stepmom under those conditions, because they're actually very dignified and civilized people who have proper furniture and matching dishes. They were very sweet and encouraging about it all, though. We finally have a table suitable for their company (see new apartment pics a bit further on), so Juan, Elenita, please come back!
