Here are some photos of our new place. If I get really creative maybe I'll turn these into an interactive floorplan (like a web page I did about my trip to Fraunces Tavern Museum in college), but for now you can at least see what the new digs look like.

I got some good furniture with my Aunt Jen at the Alameda flea market (including this coffee table, which is exactly what I'd been searching for and suddenly we rounded a corner and there it was, like it had been waiting for me all morning)
and also the first thing you see when you walk into the place, at the end of a hallway long enough to do the tango down.

I was in there for two hours working on my Halloween costume last night.
Chris is starting to collect beautiful old stereo equipment, which is kept in the office/guest bedroom (for now).

The best thing about the whole apartment: a bathroom with electric outlets! (We failed to notice that our old place had none until after we'd signed the lease and started unpacking, which necessitated extension chords strung throughout the house.)
The second best thing about the whole apartment. Honeycomb tiles on the bathroom floor! I'm a sucker for old-fashioned tilework.
